The Granary is a detached, self catering stone built character countryside / rural cottage, believed to be over 300 years old. It is converted from a former dairy and grain store, and retains many original features which gives this spacious king size sleigh bedded cottage a romantic feel. It is surrounded by countryside and woodland and indeed the Gloucestershire Way runs right by the door as well as the Wysis Way and there are many Forest countryside walks available directly from the cottage.

The village is just to the north of the beautiful Forest of Dean with its wonderful cycle trails, walks and other outdoor activities. It is also close to Symonds Yat and Ross-on-Wye with many walking routes along the Wye valley. The historic city of Gloucester lies east of the village with it's cathedral and reclaimed docks.
