The kitchen is nicely outfitted with Restaurant Grade state-of-the-art Wolf Stove complete Grill alongside a spacious restaurant size Sub Zero Fridge. The kitchen has a back door that opens you to the beautiful back yard. To the right and directly in front after you pass the living room is a hallway that takes you to the restroom and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom is elegantly designed and features a brand new hotel-quality Queen Size Bed and premium mattress. The Large 2nd Bedroom has 2 Large Queen Size Beds both Brand new also featuring hotel-quality mattresses. An important note to anyone Visiting Venice Beach is the weather is warm, tropical and at times humid. The sun shines from 7am-7pm and the smell of the ocean fills the air. You are right off the beach so it can get humid at times. Like all houses in Venice Beach, it does not have air-conditioning so if you are accustomed to keeping the windows closed and staying inside the house your entire vacation blasting the air-condition please do not book this home. We hope it makes for a great experience during your stay. - To ensure we keep the floorboards squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a no shoes policy inside our home. We like to think of it as bringing the beach to the house (only without the sand!) - The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanity napkins in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the bathroom. Tucked away in Topanga (yet only minutes from town) sits Chandler Farms, a 500 sq ft cabin. Recently remodeled, the cabin is a perfect mix of rustic & luxury featuring a private deck with a hammock facing breathtaking views and a massive walk in shower. A newly remodeled guest cabin with a private front yard and a huge private deck overlooking the canyon. A gorgeous 2 person bathroom with double sinks and a spa style shower with a bench and skylight. Raw hard wood ceilings with rustic touches makes this a unique yet comfy space. Just a 2 minute drive from rustic Topanga and 10 minutes from the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu, we are also directly across the street from Topanga state park, the largest tract of park land in Los Angeles. Trailhead is within walking distance with access to miles of trails of varying difficulty. Red Rock Canyon is also 5 minute drive. Over the ridge to the Valley is 12 minute drive with access to all modern shopping amenities and restaurants. Its really up you. We are a super chill couple with years of airbnb experience as both hosts and guests. Your space is your own private area that is connected to the main house by a short trail. We are always available to help with advice about the area or to just hang out and trade travel stories. Topanga is a special place that has been occupied by native americans for hundreds of years. They chose this area for its lush vegetations, calm winds and dry temperate climate. The moisture comes up the canyon every morning and evening to feed the vegetation. It truly is a mountainous paradise within proximity to all LA has to offer. The people are a laid back mix of musicians, artists and film makers from all over the world. You can literally get lost in the maze of meandering roads and trails that give sight to the eclectic architecture and natural vistas. Everyday the weather is near perfect - you have to experience it yourself to fully understand. A rental car is a must in LA. You can use LYFT or UBER to get to and from the city but it is not as convenient as having your own wheels. A taxi can be taken from LAX or Burbank airports to the cabin. Mountain biking and hiking are great ways to explore the area. Several trails originate near our home and can be taken all the way down to the coast. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level. The cabin is a guest house on our property with its own parking space. We have 2 driveways so parking is never an issue. The cabin has a kitchen with a fridge, 2 burner range and a microwave. The private deck features a picnic table, a hammock, two lounge chairs and a small propane Weber grill. Available for any help/guidance! And we love to meet our guests but fully respect their privacy. The cabin is a few minutes' drive to Topanga and some great organic restaurants as well as fun shops. Drive to the beach in Malibu or stay in the area and commune with nature on a hike or bike ride. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level.

Mountain View’s everywhere. 10 minute drive to the middle of the canyon brings you to local shops, small local market, artesian restaurants, art galleries and other Topanga staple businesses. Guest have access to the complete guest suite: (Bedroom , bathroom, common living space and kitchenette) Outside table and chairs provide a semi private sitting area as well as deck on roof with Mountain View’s. Washer and dryer in separate area are also available upon request to guest if need be. This property has other units on site.... We live on the property and are welcoming to all. Los Angeles and it’s surrounding areas have great public transportation and Uber and Lyft do come in and out of the canyon but a car is a must given our proximity to outside areas. *** important to know: the Driveway is a little steep. The first time you come down can be a little daunting. Feel free to find parking at the top of the property first time down, or trust that you have plenty of space to turn around and park in front of your rental***

Wake up to city views and soak up the sunshine at a classic Spanish Hollywood hideaway with Bohemian flavor. House is divided - Guest will stay in the Two-Story Main House while Hosts live in the back of house with separate entrance. We are well-traveled creative types on premises in the divided back house. We'll meet you when you arrive and show you the house & yard, and then be available by text or call for any questions. We are more than happy to interact with guests, but also respect that some guests may want to keep to themselves. Walk to Hollywood, Beachwood Canyon, or Franklin Village. Uber or Lyft comes in seconds and takes minutes to Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and West Hollywood. Griffith Park is minutes from the house. Walk to the Hollywood and Vine Metro Red Line Station, The Flyaway bus from LAX drops you off at Hollywood and Argyle just 5 blocks away. It is only 8 dollars. Uber and Lyft cars are everywhere Not Handicap Accessible - we are up two flights of outdoor stairs to enter the house, and bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. This house is not child-proofed so not suitable for children, there are floor to ceiling windows with no child guards.We do have a lovely doodle named Theodore. He is hypoallergenic and does not shed. He is kept in a separate yard and you won't be interacting with him unless you would like to of course!

Enjoy watching the sunset from the deck with beautiful hillside and garden views. This enchanting English Tudor home, mixes vintage details with modern amenities. Entry to the unit is through the garage which leads to a small lobby, and then to the stairs to the second story unit. The entire second floor is yours and includes the living room with a vaulted ceiling and dining area, kitchen complete with refrigerator, microwave, stove and breakfast bar, 2 bathrooms, both recently remodeled and master bath with a deep soaking tub, large master bedroom with walk in closet, guest bedroom, and balcony with a hillside view. You have access to the second story balcony and the backyard on the ground level. There are patio tables and lounge chairs for outdoor entertaining and relaxing. In the backyard, there are several fruit trees which include cherry, plum, apple, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon and peach. When in season, guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruits. I reside in the unit on the first floor and I am generally available to answer questions or assist if you need anything. Located in historic View Park, a little known picturesque hillside community with panoramic views of the mountains and downtown LA. It's perfectly positioned a mere 9 miles to downtown, 8 miles to LA's most popular beaches, and 5 miles to LAX. To get around the city, you can use Uber, Lyft, or public transportation is also available within less than a mile walk. Guests will be asked to provide a valid photo ID at the time of check in if there is no profile picture.

Chic, Cottage-Style House on Balboa Island

The house was renovated with all new appliances and decor, but the chic cottage feeling reminds you that you are on the charming Island of Balboa, Many of our repeat visitors are 3 generation families. the grandparents, children and grandchildren, who love their "trundle room". The sand and bay are just steps away. Bikes, SUPs, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, games, for both inside and out. We even have a baby pool to use on the patio for little ones. Also a port a crib and high chair if needed. There is a tenant in back who will share the W/D in the garage, but the rest of the property and equipment is yours. I usually meet the guests on arrival to show them around and of course to meet them. I live just a few miles away, so am available if they havr questions, The home is situated on Balboa Island, a little-known gem. Main Street, which is just 2 blocks away, has unique shops and several restaurants. The ferry to Newport Beach is just a short walk from the house. Kayak, bike, paddle board, or simply relax on the beach. Walking or biking are the easiest ways to navigate the Island! We have a garage for your use, and Fashion Island and Newport Beach are close by. Balboa is a lovely little community and some of our neighbors live there year round, so we ask our guests to respect that the houses are close by, and to bring their visiting inside at 10 on weekdays and 11 on the weekends.
