Studio Guest Suite in Forest Cottage

Embrace the peacefulness of the Carolina Foothills in this ground level unit. The private apartment features natural stone walls, exposed wood beams, touches of color, tasteful furnishings, high-end decor, and a first floor walkout. The view out of the large windows is trees and forest which contributes to a feeling of being utterly surrounded by nature. We are located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains--the peaks are close, but cannot be seen from the apartment. We live above, and are very quiet and low key--you may hear the occasional few footsteps or running water. Events and photo shoots are not allowed. Canebrake Road is a graveled country lane with curves. Our house is at the top of the lane on the left--the entrance to the driveway is manned by a cement sheep sporting the house number around his neck, and is officially .56 miles from the beginning of Canebrake Road. Fork left into our driveway. At night, aim for the streetlight atop our garage. The kitchenette has all you need for quick and easy meals. Fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, (if requested), coffee maker, full sink and complete dishware. The living area has a smart TV, books, cards, games, and magazines to keep you occupied in the evening hours. The studio is very spacious, and if you have a child, the sofa will suffice, or we can provide a small cot. The surrounding woods are peaceful and enveloping--conducive to long and restful sleeps. The calls of birds and katy-dids are just about all that you may hear.... Guests can park up in the top driveway area, where it is easier to maneuver, or directly in front of the apartment. The apartment is very private and secluded from the main house entrances. We are in the house attached, and can answer any questions you may have. We leave you to your independence, or will socialize if it is appropriate. You are the guests and the time here belongs to you.... The apt sits at the top of a small hill, reached by a curved gravel lane and is less than 5 minutes from both downtown Tryon and Columbus, home to a number of shops, restaurants, art galleries, movie theatre and more. The Tryon International Equestrian Center is just 15 minutes away and Harmon Field, an athletic complex, is located at the beginning of our road. In summer, our neighbor's homes are invisible. The location is private and serene. A car is mandatory. We have a nice walking circuit, right out the front door, which takes you through the woods. Harmon Field is a 2 minute walk down the lane, with multiple sports amenities and the Pacolet River to walk along.

Beautifully renovated guest house, sits on the former site of the old Columbus Mills plantation. This cozy, well equipped, 410 sq. ft. home feels spacious with the trussed vaulted ceiling, open eat in kitchen, roomy sitting area with gas logs and a large covered front porch. Little Camp Bungalow

The Little Camp Bungalow is a small 1950's house that has been completely renovated. The space has two bedrooms, one new full bath, a new kitchen, dining area, and living area. The windows are large and the house is always filled with light. The house is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, The Tryon Fine Arts Center, The Tryon Theatre, and all that downtown has to offer. We are also 13 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center. AND! We have NO CLEANING FEE!!!!

Horse Haven - 1 Bedroom Loft 8 Miles to TIEC

The second story guest house apartment is is full of light and air with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Just moments away from TIEC. You will be staying in a gated community, so parking is no problem. The bathroom has a large walk in shower (with grab bars) and the bedroom is equipped with a large Sony TV. This is a great place to stay if you ride, as my house is on the FETA trails. If you're showing at TIEC, Fence or Harmon Field, I'm only 10 minutes away.

Cozy House on the Water with Great Fall Foliage

This family lake house is built on beautiful lake Lanier. Just ten minutes from Tryon North Carolina and Landrum South Carolina. The house offers beautiful views of Hogback Mountain from our private patio, it is on the water, has a dock, canoe, gas grill,and a rooftop deck overlooking the water. We also offer two Roku televisions wifi, high speed internet, fire pit, and a full kitchen and bath. Also included are linens and towels, as well as condiments and basic toiletries.

Nestled in horse country, we are 15 miles, 20 minutes from TIEC, 5 minutes from downtown Tryon or Landrum and 3 miles from FENCE. Located across the street from the Historic Block House the cottage was built to house horses and jockeys for the Block House Steeplechase. Completely renovated, it has a bunk bed with 2 full size mattresses, an eat-in kitchen with hot plate, toaster oven and microwave, WIFI and Apple TV. Coffee and bottled water are provided. Cottage at end of private road. Pretty place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Several hosting vineyards, hiking and kayaking nearby. Convenient to nearby towns of Tryon, Landrum, Columbus and 15 minutes to the Tryon International Equestrian Center and other eventing venues. Less than an hour to Asheville, Greenville, Spartanburg, BMW Plant, and 3 major airports. A great gateway to western Carolinas. Sofa bed and loft add to sleeping space for families.

Adorable renovated downtown cottage. This roomy 2 bedroom, 2 bath with an open floor plan, has a sleeper sofa and comfortably sleeps 6. The space has two queen size beds with plush linens and towels, fully equipped kitchen and washer ,dryer and WiFi available. Conveniently located one block from main street and downtown Tryon restaurants, shopping, galleries and theaters. 4 miles from I-26and Hwy 74, 13 miles to TIEC.

Welcome to Relaxing Oaks…a little house in the woods! The home of white squirrels and country life, we are located at the bottom of White Oak Mountain. Only 5 minutes from I-26 and Columbus NC, yet we are tucked away in nature. Yes, we were affected by Helene. BUT we are back to full power and WiFi. As of 10/6 the cell phone service isn’t good but you can connect to WiFi.
