The cabin is in a private spot 150 feet from the main house, and a 300 foot walk from parking. Cabin features a queen bed in the loft, and a convertible couch. Kitchen is fully functioning with fridge, stove, cookware, dishes, soap and linens. Water is a jug/bucket system. Toilet is a sawdust bucket composting toilet. Heated by wood stove. 25 minutes from Falcon Lake.

Cottage is 7 km (5 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2024) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.
