At home

The house is situated above the matala bay , overlooking the beach and caves. There are three main terraces stretching over a 100 sq m of open space on three different levels. The building itself is 20 sq m, it used to be a bar back in the 90s, built in the 50s. Toilet with a hot shower is a separate building, all in mirrors, so don’t get lost in that fractals there. The elevated bed is right above the dining area, so you need to use a wooden ladder. P.S. all facilities are private, not shared.

Matala Caves is a small seafront apartment that sits right on the shoreline of Matala beach,the famous hippies' gathering place during the '60s.Its private terrace offers a stunning view of the prehistoric caves carved into the sandstone cliff,the long sandy beach and the azure water.The surrounding area includes bars and taverns,where you can enjoy a drink and taste the local kitchen.Please have in mind that there is often late night music around the area,since Matala has a vibrant nightlife.

It was built in 1924 and has been a property of our family ever since. Irene Komos Independent House is an intimate House with a view at the world-known Komos Beach. The House provides all amenities and comforts a guest will expect., it is quiet and relaxing.
