This is a unique space we have made for our old and new friends. This is a basement riverfront suite,below our home. There is Not a full kitchen. Great for those looking to spend some time in nature. We love our space and enjoy sharing it with others. Your suite has its own entrance and is totally private from the rest of the house where we live. We named our space "The Creek House" because of the bold creek that flows down the hill from the cabin. The home is located in a holler with views of the mountains in the distance. It is peaceful with sounds of water cascading over the boulders. You might also hear the occasional neighing & mooing of our neighbors on the farm next door! The area offers hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, gem mining, Zip lining, Utving, dining, antique shopping, wine tastings at local vineyards, etc.

Great mountain getaway on Roaring Creek in North Carolina. Appalachian Trail access just two miles down the road. Only 30 minutes to skiing in the winter. This home is over 100 years old and carries precious memories. It is located on 100+ acres of beautiful woods and pasture land. The Cane River runs through the property. The cozy and rustic home has three bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen as well as a front porch where you can sit and rock for hours. The sweet town of Burnsville is only ten miles away and there is a rich art community surrounding us. Asheville is about 45 miles away. Come visit!

Crystal Cascades

Power has been restored, but the property doesn’t look the same as it used to. There are many fallen trees that have landed into the creek. The rushing water from the storm has washed away some of the banks of the creek. We don’t really want to post pictures of it right now, until we finish our cleanup efforts. On the other hand, the cabin is intact and just as cute as ever
