Lazy Leaf River Estate

Beautiful home overlooking the Leaf River. It is located on 4.5 acres in a quiet secluded area. The Leaf River is great for kayaking and fishing. The Okatoma Creek is just 15 minutes away in Seminary, MS and is a very popular stream for kayaking. We are located just 5 minutes off Interstate 59 in Moselle and 25 minutes from Hattiesburg and Southern Miss and William Carey campuses and the Hattiesburg Zoo. We're just 25 minutes from downtown Laurel where HGTV's popular Hometown series is filmed.

The Cottage on the Green

The Cottage is situated on the backside of an acre parcel behind the main house. A swimming pool separates the main house from the cottage. The property is very quiet, peaceful and private. The property owners are a retired lieutenant from a California LE agency and his wife a retired teacher who give guests as much privacy as they request. We are only a short distance from the Longleaf Trace and about 2 miles from the Barn at Bridlewood wedding venue for those attending a wedding there.

Our Little Farmhouse

This 1920's treasure holds nearly 100 years of special memories for our family. It has recently been lovingly renovated and restored and is very comfortable. Much of the original shiplap, beaded-board, and heart pine floors have been retained and restored, as well as much of the original exterior and front porch. There are two bedrooms and two baths downstairs. Upstairs offers a loft play area and a small bedroom with two twin beds. This home is located just 5 minutes from downtown Laurel.

The Cottage is very cozy with a mixture of vintage and industrial decor. Visitors will have complete privacy within the house at all times, but with our home close by, we are always happy to help should you need anything! We are located in Downton Brandon in the Historic District. The Cottage is a guest house seated behind our home; it is a very quiet place, and it is great for working individuals, couples seeking a fun concert experience, or families participating in ball tournaments.

The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack n play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and microwave. There is no dishwasher.
