Peaceful cottage blue in the countryside.

Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Nice country accommodation north of Egilsstaðir in East Iceland and has eight en-suite bedrooms in four cabins beside the main house. Big veranda with fireplace and new sauna house for our guests! Breakfast possible only from late June to midd August. Wonderful view to the snow capped mountains of Dyrfjoll to the east.
