Preston village lies 1.1 mile inland from the beautiful Tynemouth longsands, between Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. Only a mile to a metro station giving access to the cities of Newcastle, Gateshead etc. The south facing high walled garden has a wood fired hot tub for all 5 guests to unwind and relax. Sleeps up to 5 . A charming, cosy traditional cottage dating back to 1870 in the small hamlet of Fir Tree, Crook. Although almost 200 years old, it has been mostly modernised inside to give modern conveniences along with retaining charm and character. 2 pub/restaurants in the hamlet serving excellent food. Although situated on the A68, the main road to Edinburgh, the cottage benefits from double glazing throughout and a short walk up the hill at back of cottage to a children's play area.

The cottage has many windows; which takes great advantage of the beautiful surroundings, looking on to the peaceful country views, court yard and paddocks. We also have an occasional barn owl. The cottage is next door to the farm house but is the only cottage on-site. Hot tub not included in this listing.

Sunrise Cottage, 2 minutes walk from the beach!

Sunrise Cottage is a modern and stylish 2 bedroom home. It can accomodate a family of 4 or 2 couples. There are 2 free parking bays available. There are 2 toilets and there is a washing machine. It is situated on the main road into the town. The stairs are steep and the bath/shower is deep so the property would not be recommended for anyone with mobility issues. No stagg or hen parties, no smoking and no pets.
