Rent a boat or go cycling or hiking through the woods at St. Nicolaasga or along the Frisian lakes. A beautiful 18-hole golf course can be found in St. Nicolaasga (Burggolf). For children there is' Swimfun '; recommended.

Idyllic cottage to yourself in Giethoorn

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like a fairytale book! It's like really living in authentic Giethoorn for a while. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 5-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (South). Unfortunately not suitable for children from 0 to 7. (Also not for walker and wheelchair.)
