The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Waldkauz's guesthouse family in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventure seekers, families (with kids) and larger groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome and are very comfortable regularly.
