A beautiful Farm stay which is 7 minutes from Oamaru has a beautiful views as look out the kitchen area as a sea view from a distance the scenery is breathtaking so head to the farm for a breath of air in spectacular scenery. I have a lot of native plants in my garden and still working on more landscaping. Have animals some young stock and a cat and dog which are very friendly. Not far from town or the sea for a day trip This stylish and unique place sets the stage for a memorable trip.

The Little Red School House Bed & Breakfast

Get back to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet of our country getaway in the historic "Little Red School House", just 30 minutes inland from Oamaru. Our B & B is located on our 940 hectare family farm which we run sheep and beef cattle on. The farm is situated over 400m above sea level so has panoramic country views. An early morning or evening walk is amazing for taking in the sunrise or sunset. We are happy to pick up people travelling on the Alps to Ocean Trial. Breakfast included.

Situated on a high bluff, only 5 blocks from the town centre, Homestay Oamaru offers the best views of any accommodation provider in Oamaru. There are two double bedrooms, each with a queen double bed and ensuite facilities. Light, pastel colours are used throughout, except for the lounge which features a dramatic Bordeaux. A delicious, full breakfast is included in the room rate. The property has a quiet situation down a long drive where there is ample off-road parking and room to turn.

Miss Barclay's is a beautifully restored colonial cottage within walking distance to Harbour St, restaurants and the public gardens. Built in 1868, the cottage has a large bedroom, lounge and surprisingly spacious kitchen/dining room. The interior of the cottage has been loving recreated to capture the charm, but none of the inconvenience of days gone by. This quaint, yet very comfortable cottage is self-contained and guests have sole access which includes the garden and outdoor areas.

A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Private, delightful garden & decks facing the sun. Outdoor seating provided. Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome to stay. This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.

We offer a cosy cabin in Kakanui, on the scenic route from Dunedin to Oamaru. 10mins drive to penguin colony and historic Oamaru. Kakanui has a shop for groceries, alcohol, take-aways and . A restaurant in walking distance, open Wed-Sun. Have a lovely quiet walk to river and along the beach and then back to the tiny house for coffee or tea. Self-serve breakfast is provide for first night. We are a couple who love guests. We speak English, Swiss-German.
