Our bach is designed to bring people together and create lasting memories. The 2 relaxing bedrooms are positioned around a large covered outdoor room and courtyard. This functional space can be as open or as closed in as you desire. Open the 2 large glass garage doors in the morning to listen to the waves crashing while you have your morning coffee, or start the day with an outdoor shower. Evenings are best finished toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or going for a walk on the beach.

We welcome you to our home, which has views of the ocean and farmland. The guest area is located on the ground floor. Only a 10 minute stroll into the township of Whakatane, and five minute drive to Ohope Beach, voted one of the safest surf beaches in NZ. The entrance to the famous Nga Tapuwai O Toi walking track is only 2 minutes from our home. If you are into astronomy, the Whakatane Observatory is steps away from our property, open to the public Tuesday and Friday evenings.

Surrounded by the bush, our unique cosy studio is a welcome retreat. Breakfast and good coffee is provided for our guests. Situated within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi.
