Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Riverside Retreat 2 at La ferme du lac.

La Ferme du lac is situated down in a beautiful wooded valley and is totally secluded. There is peace and tranquility on the doorstep. We currently have an empty lake but are surrounded by a forest full of wildlife and birds galore. The area is renowned for Chateaux, beautiful lakes and is a haven for children and adults alike. There are numerous walking and cycle paths. We are 50 minutes from Limoges (URL HIDDEN) The area is stunning and life here is all about relaxing.......

Lakeside cabin with space for 1-4 people. This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

In the heart of the Pergord Limousin regional natural park, 30 min from Limoges: at the exit of the village, past the stone bridge, the Alley of Old Trees welcomes you in a green bath. The wooded grounds on 6 ha are a meander of the small river, the Gorre. The mill camp along the bief; a bamboo garden softened the north flan while to the south, the terrace of the cottage overlooks the edge of the wood.
