Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

It is a spacious 3-room apartment, which offers space for 4-5 friends/family members. Pets are also allowed. The exact room layout can be found in the gallery. Self-catering is possible through the kitchen, which was renovated in 2019. As the apartment is directly in the centre, there are also many restaurants and cafés in the same street or in the surrounding area. You have a view of the lake from 4 rooms and the balcony. The apartment is on the 4th floor - elevator available.

For our own use, we offer our approximately 200 years old, refurbished cabin. Here, alpine coziness meets modernity. Whether summer or winter, this stylish cottage has an area of around 50 square metres and is the perfect place to stay for four. It is situated on a sunny slope. This quaint retreat is not far from the Mölltaler Gletscherbahn and many destinations for hiking, climbing, ski/hiking skiing, canoeing and much more. The Knusperhäuschen is located at 700 meters with a view over the Salzachtal, about 5 km from Golling, 25 km from Salzburg. The log cabin is esconced in nature, surrounded by forest and meadows. Also ideal for dog owners. A small guesthouse is nearby and can be used for breakfast. You'll love my place because of the healthy wood construction, tasteful kitchen-living room, tiled stove, quiet location, terrace, fantastic views, fresh air. My place is nice for couples.

100 years old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt with us at the organic mountain farm. Special care has been taken to the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a thermal solar system, the bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75m2) served us as a residence for 10 years.

Apartment in a 19th century house, for 1- 4 in the old center beneath the castle/ monastry (sound of music), very calm, clean and cosy, ten minutes walk to the Mozartplatz, 15 minutes by bus from the trainstation. For our guests with toddlers/small children we are very happy to offer a Thule Sport 2 carriage for lend (10 euros/day). This way you can explore Salzburg by foot also with small children!
