It's a 2 min drive to and from town (including a short stretch of gravel road), an hours drive to Lake Waikaremoana or 40 minutes to Mahia Beach for sun, surf and sand. Beach front bach on Wainui Beach. Fantastic views whatever the weather, stunning surf beach, the bach overlooks it all. Wow factor sun rises, keep the curtains open and have a treat! The cottage has a queen bed in an annex in the main area so you can wake up to the view, or watch the waves at night under the moon. There are bunks in the bedroom, a heat pump for toastie winters, this place is a rustic humble piece of kiwiana beachlife, a total rejuvination space and a surfers heaven.

Longview Cottage - peace and quiet.

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Peace and tranquility - leave the city behind.

Accomodation is located at the back of the section. There is a security camera monitoring the the front driveway and road. The room is very compact cosy and private in a garden setting with a courtyard. My guests so far have told me the bed is very comfortable. There is a small step onto the unit veranda to access the room. I DONT allow children to stay as there is no room, as well as safety concerns, the room is not child proof. I provide milk tea and coffee.

Our self contained Studio is located behind our Art Deco home. It is located close to the " viaduct basin " of Gisborne - Restaurants, Kaiti Hill, Museum, Cycleway, Beaches and a short 10 minute walk to the river and Gisborne CBD. Our Studio is private and centrally located - a great place to explore all our region has to offer, easily. The studio is perfect for couples, solo travellers and business travellers. It is great to get positive reviews for our Studio.

Our home is on an elevated site, with lovely views down to the beach and is just a short walk to the sand. The guest suite is private and quiet and is situated at one end of the house, with its own entrance for guests to come and go as they please. Enjoy waking to the sound of the waves and the local bird life. Have breakfast on the deck while taking in the views. The bedroom has a queen bed and guests have their own bathroom and lounge, and private deck area.

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.
