Beautiful Family Cottage on Houghton Lake

Our family owned Cottage located on the east bay of Houghton Lake. This is a perfect northern Michigan vacation spot for families and friends. Located directly on the water with a private dock. The water is shallow around and past the dock, making it a great place for kids to play. This house has all the amenities to enjoy your time up north, including kayaks and Paddle boards. After a long day in the water, grab a drink and take a seat on the porch and watch the amazing sunset over the lake

Private Cozy Family Retreat The best of up north!

Private up north cottage with large double lot and woods on either side giving excellent privacy and relaxation. Nestled on a slow road with very minimal traffic so it's great for kids! 1 mile from Higgins Lake Boat launch and just a few miles from Houghton Lake. Walking distance to state property trails for quads, SxS, and snowmobiles. Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. Great restaurants or ice cream are just a few minutes away! Enjoy up north without being too close to neighbors!

Your outdoor activity dream home.

Nice ranch with Houghton Lake at the end of the street. Access to launch a small boat. DNR launch close by. Property is on Devonshire which is the access road for the ORV trails. Trails are 1/2 mile down the street. Large fenced in yard with fire pit, BBQ and swing set. Great for kids. Boating, trail riding, hunting or just relaxing this is it. Sheets and towels included. Well water. Please note we have security cameras to monitor outdoor house access. Our cleaning staff is top notch.

Higgins Lake getaway

Our little getaway just under an acre in size offers you plenty of room for tents, boats and toys. 1st floor bdrm has a queen size bed, bathroom has tub/shower, full size bed & futon in the loft & 2 couches in Livingroom. Kitchen has full amenities. Air conditioner unit in 1st floor bedroom, removed in cooler months. Cabin accommodates 6+ people. Our cabin is a great place to stay weather you are coming up to enjoy Higgins Lake, the Fall color tours, hunting, or winter activities.

The Hook-N-Ladder Lodge of Houghton Lake (Unit#1)

Our rental cottages are a very unique set-up. We offer a side by side duplex, both are directly on the water. This is a GREAT set-up to bring the in laws or family friends. Open your front door and look out the large living room windows to the beautiful waterfront. The private lakefront consists of 75’ on the water, 100’ foot of dock, very sandy bottom great for swimming, bon fire pit and much, much more. This listing is for 1/2 the duplex ( 1 cottage ).
