This spacious studio apartment is set in native bush at Lake Tarawera, at the back of a lake-front property. However, it does have great views of the lake. It has one main room which includes a kitchen area, a dining room table, a lounge and beds and there's a separate bathroom. It is accessed up a flight of stairs with a laundry for use downstairs. Wifi is available. There is an outdoor patio, with comfortable furniture, sun umbrella and magnificent views across the lake to the mountain.

Wytchwood Lake House is steps away from the lake edge - just follow the wide garden path down to the water. It is comfortably furnished, with a warm, cosy fire in winter and doors opening onto both front and back decks for summer. The sheltered back deck overlooking the garden is great for outdoor dining, while the expansive front deck overlooks Lake Rotorua, giving you great sunsets and night views of the city lights. The property is a 20 min drive from the city, down a shared drive.

We have a homely three-bedroom house which is fully fenced and allows for young toddlers to remain within the property when gate is closed. Tourist attractions are close by and within walking distance such as the beautiful Redwood Forest, Te Puia & NZ Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, Whakarewarewa Village, Te Arikapakapa Golf Course, Secret Spot Hot Tubs, Polynesian Spa and so much more for our guests to see. We have dropped our price due to the “ Occupancy Tax” NZ govt is now charging guests We are 15mins from Hobbiton movie set.
