The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400,-

Here you can recharge your batteries at this unique and rural accommodation. The log house from 1940 has been recently renovated and decorated with new and old interiors. Nice hiking areas just outside the house. Great hiking trail in Tveitgrendi, with spectacular views of mountains and fjords. Bandak is a lovely spot for paddlers. Vrådal, Morgedal and Dalen are also great places to visit. Kviteseid is a cosy little center with shops and cafes. In the summer, the canal boat Victoria stops by the pier in the city center.
