You can experience the sound insulation unique to the earthen warehouse, the coolness of summer, and the warmth of winter. Opend in May 2023, YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year. 12 bicycles (inc. those for children) are available. You can visit the Shirahige Shrine, famous for its Torii in the lake, in a 15min by those.
