Where are we? We are located in Rusinga Island, which is a small island in lake Victoria but connected to the mainland by a bridge. Mbita is the nearest town on the mainland and 8 km away from the homestead. The lake is always in sight and only a 5 minute walk away. On the island you will find mainly small farms with the families living either in the traditional mud huts or more modern brick houses. Several small villages are spread around the island, Kolunga Beach being the closest.

The space is within my compound but a few metres away from my house. Am always present and ensure the guests are well taken care of. The VIP HOTEL is located just afew metres away from us. They have a swimming pool just in case the guests want to swim. This is an upcountry setting.
