Room with heating/cooling, refrigerator, microwave, electric plate, toaster, coffee and kettle. Dishes and utensils for dining. Beds ready, including sheets and towels. A wooded slope, on a lakefront log cabin with thick logs exude peace. The cottage has a high living room, a fireplace, a small kitchen, a massive wooden sauna with molding boards and shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a loft for sleeping and a downstairs bedroom, a spacious porch and a separate vilpola. 2 spare mattresses. The cottage is located next to the traditional forest pastures of heifers. The atmospheric feature of the place is occasionally a heated bell or a heater on the adjacent beach.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.
