Fairlight Maison

Beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you'd need for a home away from home stay. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. Separate living room with a cosy fireplace and dinning room for 6 people. A charming study with a small daybed, a desk and printer. Well equipped kitchen good enough for any chefs. Sunny balcony off the master bedroom to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. A plunge pool with sunbed in the rear courtyard garden for soaking up the sun or alfresco entertaining & relaxation. We provide luxurious bedding linen, Egyptian Cotton bath towels, high end bathroom amenities including a hairdryer. Unfortunately we do not provide beach towels and we don't have a BBQ. There is a Nespresso Coffee machine in the kitchen and we provide a few coffee pods to get you started but you will have to purchase the additional pods at our local supermarket, Coles. Instant coffee and a small selection of tea are there for you to use of course. Guests will have access to the entire house by themselves. Guests will have full privacy. The house is conveniently located within a 10-20 minute walk of the famous Manly Beach precinct, home to a multitude of trendy cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. In addition, there's easy access to outdoor activities, such as bushwalking and surfing. If you don't want to do the 10-20mins walk to Manly, there is a local free bus shuttle (Hop Skip & Jump Bus) that takes you to directly to Manly Beach and Manly ferry. The bus stops right across the street in front of the house and comes around every 30mins. To go into the city there is also a public bus stop just around the corner but we suggest you take the scenic ferry ride across the Harbour into Sydney and you'll be in the heart of Sydney's tourist attractions. If you have a car you can park on the street in front of the house. There is always plenty of parking available. Fairlight La Maison is a terrace house on 3 levels so there are steep narrow stairs which might not be suitable for young children not used to stairs and elderly people. We have a gas fireplace. There is a Nespresso machine but only a sample of pods will be provided to get you started. If you would like use the Nespresso Coffee machine then you will need to buy extra coffee pods at the local supermarket. We don't have a BBQ. You will also need to bring your own beach towels as we do not provide beach towels at the house. We don't own a cat but our neighbours do. Nero is the black cat and Oscar is the grey marble cat. They are super friendly cats and often wander into the house if the doors and windows are left open. If you are allergic to cats we suggest you don't allow them in the house.

Newly renovated, retract a wall of windows to combine the hip, open-plan interiors of this cottage with a sunny outdoor deck patio with a BBQ grill and dining area. Get lost in a book within a peaceful, window-wrapped sunroom featuring a children’s play area. Beautifully styled and well-appointed, this single storey beach home offers casual comfort and spacious living areas, perfect for family groups seeking a relaxed beachside holiday. A beautifully manicured and fully enclosed rear garden is ideal for children. The garden studio is complete with an ensuite, a perfect 4th bedroom if 8 guests are staying or extra living area if preferred. You will have the entire property including the studio for yourselves. There is a separate side entrance for the studio. The back of the house opens entirely through bifold doors giving flow through to the deck and rear yard. You will be greeted on arrival at the property. As hosts we will be available via phone or email throughout your stay. The home is in Newport Beach, a town known for its surfing breaks and beautiful scenery. Newport Village’s boutiques, markets, and restaurants are a stroll away, as is the beach. Palm Beach, or Summer Bay as it's known on "Home and Away", is 15 minutes further north by car. If night life or a faster pace is more your style then Manly is less than half an hour by car, travelling South. From here the Manly ferry can take you across Sydney Harbour to the CBD for a day of sightseeing. The L90 bus is a 5 minute walk away on Barrenjoey Road and makes regular trips to and from the city. The spacious formal dining and living areas have recently been extensively renovated and flow effortlessly to a timber deck and alfresco dining and BBQ area. The stunning open plan kitchen is brand new and boasts Miele and Smeg appliances, stone benches and a large breakfast bar, perfect for informal dining. The plasma in the main living area is equipped with Foxtel and a DVD player. A 2nd living area (with DVD player only) at the other end of the home gives everyone their own space to relax and unwind.

The home boasts great accessibility to public transport and major Sydney attractions. Just 4 minutes stroll to Sydney's iconic Darling Harbour and ICC Sydney, 3 mins walk to Light Rail, Town Hall station is about 15 mins away, 30 mins to Sydney Airport and there is a shuttle bus that leaves from the building to the airport every hour. Not available for parties.

Chill out in a Cosy, Stylish & Light Apartment

The apartment gets a lovely sea breeze. It is on the top floor of a small block of flats. Apartment has no common walls and is quiet. A small walk to the wharf and a 20 minute ferry trip to the city and its many further attractions. Once in Manly it is unlikely you will need a car. The apartment is very central, you should be fine on foot. There is no car parking available at the property and only on street parking Manly beach 30 secs from the front door the beach is really your yard.

The whole cottage, including private deck and garden are for you to use during your stay. Each bedroom has been designed with beautiful bed linen and plenty of wardrobe space. The kitchen is fully equipped for any meal you would like to make. There is also a fully equipped laundry for your personal use. We live in a house located at the front of property. The cottage is a five-minute walk to both North Narrabeen Beach and Narrabeen Lake. Cafes and restaurants are close by.
