We renovated a small old house built 85 years ago to make it an inn where you can experience a pleasant Satoyama living in harmony with nature. The inn is located in Nakabeji-cho, Tanabe City, located almost in the middle of the Kii Peninsula, the southern part of Wakayama Prefecture. There is the "Nakabeji Route", which is part of the Kumano Kodo road, and it is a place for pilgrims and tourists visiting the ancient road. As a tourist destination, you can experience the history and culture of the area while walking along the Kumano Kodo, and it is also an attractive place for trekking and relaxation to enjoy the rich nature. It is close to attractions such as hot springs and Shirahama, making it a great place to visit during your trip. * If you are coming to walk on the Kumano Kodo, we will prepare a lunch box in the morning and evening with an optional pick-up service. Our house can accommodate up to 8 people, it has a free parking space for up to 2 normal size cars, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, pocket Wi-Fi, air-conditioner. You can bring up to 2 small pet dogs with you (extra 1,500 JPY/1 night per pet) as long as they are staying within the entrance area. There is a supermarket within 6 mins walk, many restaurants within 5~10 mins walk, & within 15 mins by car to many popular tourist spots. It's a great location for sightseeing in Wakayama.

This house was built 120 years ago and stayed by a lot of people who have plan to go to Koya-san. The house is in front of the river and you can take a look. It will make relaxed. We can do tea ceremony, if you want. We have 2 toilet and 1 bath room with big bath tab made by a Japanese special wood, Hinoki. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.
