Our self-contained studio is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travellers. We provide a comfy bed and continental breakfast. The studio has beautiful views across farmlands to the Tararua Mountain Ranges and sea views the other side. A 10min stroll takes you to our picturesque beach, via scenic walkways. Peka Peka Beach is great for swimming, walking, or just sitting and relaxing. There are masses of tracks and trails accessible from here and within the Kapiti area, for biking and walking or tramping. A trip to Kapiti Island from Paraparaumu, is a must for nature lovers. For those wanting a more relaxed stay, there are really good cafes and restaurants nearby. Harrison's Garden Cafe in Peka Peka, is great and there is a good variety of eateries at Waikanae Beach. The Shoreline Cinema in Waikanae Township, 5 mins drive away, also for coffee and cake, or well selected wines.

The guest suite occupies the downstairs portion of our house. It is self contained with a private entrance from a deck leading to the garden. It has a large master bedroom, a lounge with kitchenette & separate bathroom. The bathroom is bright, light & has modern fittings with shower, WC & vanity. The lounge includes a sofa bed, window seat, dining area & kitchenette, with facilities to self cater if required. There is a garden gate which gives access to the nature reserve, river and beach.

The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery which is open for delicious pizza on Friday evenings. Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.
