Thoughtfully Designed Modern Rustic Cabin

This mountain chalet has been in our family for 50 years and has recently been completely remodeled. Our home includes bespoke features and furniture that add to the mountain feel. There are two bedrooms: one with a queen size bed and another with a king size bed. Our home is 3 floors and we live on the ground floor. Your space and ours are separate, locked, and independent of each other. There are three decks around the home, all available for both you and us to use. NO PETS -medical reasons

You’ll love my ranch because of the views, the outdoors space, and it is so peaceful on the sand by the river. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Enjoy hiking, swimming, boating on a 380 acre ranch and along more than a mile of river or in several ponds, largest covering 1.5 acres. You can hike to a 60 foot waterfall! The cabin has free WiFi!!

In the Spring of 1948, a Botanist named Sam settled here with his wife. They had a dream to create a haven where they could learn and prosper while studying nature & living simply. They built this homestead cabin, nestled alongside a river-fed stream, under a hidden canopy of giant trees. The cabin itself is an open & inviting studio, with windows all around. This house is perfect for family fun, quiet times of reflection, a romantic getaway. Less than a minute from Sequoia Park entrance station. This cozy log cabin has seclusion, a fire pit, BBQ, places to hike, all you need to cook or just settle in and enjoy. There is a 5 star restaurant located on the river with in a mile. Your host Doug is a native of the area and a wealth of information. He can answer many of you questions and is entertaining.
