Dear guests. Alex or I will welcome you personally and you the 2 rooms.- Show the apartment. The sun is walking around the whole house, making the apartment very bright and friendly. The apartment is decorated in bright vintage style due to the age of the house. They look out of every window into the mountains. The apartment is located in a cozy old building from 1914 on the second floor in the center of Amden. Chairlift, hiking trails, indoor swimming pool, ski school and the beautiful nature are at your doorstep.

Relaxation break on the Way of St. James

Quiet yet central. Private terrace, bathroom and kitchen. King size bed for good sleep. The train station and the centre of Wattwil are a 7-minute walk away. Hiking trails are right in front of the apartment, for example, they will lead to the Waldbach waterfall. Stay on the Way of Saint James you can enjoy the view of Lake Constance, Zurich crisis or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as Thurwasser Falls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

The beautiful accommodation of Paul Jud is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by woods and meadows with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the peace and quiet, as a leisure time there are many attractions and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the spear (King of the Pre-Alps). When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a fantastic view up to Lake Constance. The studio is wheelchair accessible and step-free.

Holidays with a view

A cabin in the woods, just for you. The whole property belongs to you during your stay. There is a fireplace and a garden. Please be aware that the House is above 950m and there can be snow until May. The area is very quiet, close to nature. Hiking and BIking routes are nearby and there is a stunning view from the big terrasse to the mountains. The ski area is not far away, the closest is about 5min drive. In the livingroom is a TV and an indoor fireplace. Outdoor is a fireplace as well.

The vacation rental is below the village of Amden. The farmer's family also lives in the same house. For the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (garbage). However, we make an effort, and take this into account as much as possible. We have cats, dog and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book along, cost CHF 30.
