strawbale roundhouse with recipicol roof situated in the beautiful Gwili valley next to the steam railway. the roundhouse is open plan furnished with a lovely kitchen breakfast bar, living area with a DOUBLEBED and also a shower room with flush toilet/sink Though this is advertised for vegetarian that doesn't mean you have to be a vegetarian, only we request our guest not to cook or eat meat/fish in the roundhouse, there are plenty of restaurants nearby where you can eat locally produced meat.

No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a renovated stable block that housed the pit ponies from the local colliery at the turn of the century. The property has 2 cottages No 1 & No 2. No 2 can be booked under a separate listing. Next to the bird reserve and also with a private valley walk it is an ideal location for walkers. Dogs are welcome. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, the Gower and the Brecon Beacons. Free range pork produce is available from the farm.

Cosy Welsh cottage, with open fire, located in a small village with stunning views of the Gwendraeth Valley and Carmarthenshire. It is a comfortable and full of character, suitable for couples, families & friends to enjoy the wonderful countryside. The cottage is easily located for Carmarthen, Llanelli, the Wales Coastal path, National Botanic Gardens of Wales. Pembrokeshire and Tenby are not far. There is wifi and we have a gorgeous garden opposite the cottage. I accept one dog.

We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs to the cottage. Troedyrhiw is the perfect base for being in nature, walking, cycling and exploring the scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales.
