Easy starting point for trips to mountains, on the sea and in the cultural landscape. Relax in close contact with our social sheep and lambs. Possibility of hiking equipment, backpack, thermos, sitting area, etc. Hot tub is ordered separately, NOK 850,-/ 73,- Euro. Booking min 4 hours in advance. Lambing from mid April to first week of May - opportunity to see the little lambs and proud mothers.

THE STRAND

The house has a magnificent location right at the North Atlantic Ocean, view to the endless horizon and shifting colors of sea and sky. Facing the lighthouse and wild mountains. 5 minutes walk to Whalesafari, Sea Safari etc. It is a fisher family home (1946), fully equipped and renovated. Some furniture from past are kept, such as cabinets made by my father. Huge garden and deck. Perfect for walks along the stretching white sandy beach. Suitable for single travellers, couples and families.

Liv's House in Bøvær, Senja

Liv's house is situated by the end of the road - in Bøvær - close to a 750 m long beach. Here you will find "Kråkeslottet" - where conserts and exhibitions take place in the summer. Hiking routes start 750m from the house. The whole fjord is perfect for paddling and fishing. The supermarket, restaurant and local pub is 5 km away. The famous hiking route to Husfjellet - "The Queens Path" - starts from the church in Skaland. Bøvær is perfect for relaxing and exploring nature of Senja island.

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Located in a rural location, perfect for recreation! 50 m to the sea/pier. Decorated in festive, retro style. Well equipped. Bathroom with heating cables. 2 beds in the loft (steep staircase), 1 bed ground floor. Upright beds/towels. 45 min drive to Harstad, same to the airport. 5 min to mini market, playground and gas station. 75 min to Polar park, 2 hours to Målselvfossen. 2.5 hours to Svolvær, 3 hours to Senja, under 4 hours to Tromsø. No smoking inside, nor allowed to party.

This house is situated in Balsfjord, about 60 km far from Tromsø. It has four bedrooms, a cozy livingroom with a fireplace, a big fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. From the big balcony you can enjoy beautiful sunsets on the fjord, great northern lights in the winter time and the midnight sun in the summer time. Completely refurbished studio apartment New bathroom with heating cables. Bed in sleeping alcove. Sleeps 2 in small double bed; 120 cm wide. Private entrance. Heating cables in living area. Parking on site. Shop and bus stop 2 min walk away. 20 min walk to the city centre, and 15 min walk to the market. The mountain lift is almost the nearest neighbor. The residence is centrally located in Tromsdalen.
