Delizioso appartamento arredato con cura, in stile etnico, provvisto di ogni comfort, in un casolare appena ristrutturato secondo i principi della bioedilizia, immerso nella macchia mediterranea del più bel versante dell'isola d'Elba, con vista mozzafiato sull'arcipelago toscano e sulla Corsica, a 250 m sul livello del mare, dominante la spiaggia di Cavoli. L'appartamento è composto di soggiorno con angolo cottura e divano-letto per due persone, camera matrimoniale e bagno con doccia e ampio spazio esterno attrezzato per pranzare e prendere il sole. Il luogo è raggiungibile con una strada sterrata di 2,5 km dal paesino di San Piero in Campo (fin dove arrivano i mezzi pubblici), distante pochi minuti di macchina dalle spiagge più incantevoli dell'isola (Cavoli, Seccheto, Fetovaia) e dal centro turistico e commerciale di Marina di Campo. E' consigliabile disporre di un mezzo proprio. La casa è immersa nella tipica macchia mediterranea alternata a grandi e suggestive scogliere di granito. Il grande giardino è recintato, contiene un orto e un uliveto. Non vi sono altre abitazioni nei dintorni. Intorno alla località si snodano i più suggestivi sentieri per gli amanti del trekking e della mountain bike. It's better to have your own car or motorbike(you can rent it anywhere on the island). The house is surrounded by the typical mediterranean bush scattered with huge granite cliffs. The large garden has an olive grove and a vegetable garden. The place is secluded and there are no other houses in the surroundings. Aloe is 1 recently renovated apartment on the ground floor of 1 country house. Open all year round all year. Quiet. In the garden between plants and flowers there is a table for outdoor dining, deck chairs and barbecue. Follow the lights...

The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

Balcony on the Bay

A cosy apartment overlooking the sea and the landscapes of Porto Azzurro bay. There is a large balcony with a sun awning giving shade in the warmest seasons. A peaceful area in the countryside with good local facilities. It's great out of season too for walking or cycling. Its a sunny apartment but very cool inside. In the winter months there is heating. The apartment is on the ground floor but has a few steps to reach the apartment from the car park. There is also free parking facilities.
