Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. The Green studio is 26 m2, on the 5th floor (no elevator) with a wide view to the Valmiera tree tops. A green island in the center of Valmiera! The apartment is 800 meters from the train station, 900 meters from the bus station and “Pauku pines”. There is a free parking in the yard. The Green studiot is in a minimalist style, but with everything you need for a longer stay. It's possible to accommodate an additional guest, as the Danish design - Innovation Living sofa is extendable.

A cosy, just renovated apartment now is available for comfortable stay! It is located 15 min walking from Cesis Castle on the 5th floor with the view over Cesis city. Nice and bright studio type apartment for two with fully equipped kitchenette. You will have a deep sleep in Latvian craftsman's made beds and bed linens. Beds can be placed separately or transformed as double-bed with double mattress. Because of the good heating system apartment is warm and inviting also for the chilly season. Yes, and the place is disabled people friendly too. And if You carry a pet-friend with You, enjoy Your stay, we love them all!

Spacious apartment in private home with outdoor sitting area

The apartment is close to the city center and the bus station. 100 meters away there is also a river Gauja and walking/cycling trails. There are also rocky Goat rapids and Feeling Park nearby, which are popular walking/relaxing spots. The grocery store is 3 min walk, as well as there is a parking lot for parking near the house itself. The building also has a backyard and garden with a canopy and a fire pit that can be used to coordinate with hosts.
