Come and relax at Casa de las Aves, the House of the Birds, a comfortable and peaceful lakeside country house where more than 80 species of birds have been seen. Beautifully located a 2 minute walk from the Rio Genil river and Canales Lake and a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the nice mountain village of Guejar Sierra, the house makes a great base for exploring the highly variable local area at all times of year. 30mins drive to the ski resort or Granada city and 1hrs drive to the beach.

The cozy atmosphere with a decoration full of details, invite you to spend a few days of tranquility and peace of mind in Capileira. The cottage was originally the block of a family home and has remained carefully rehabilitated. Climalit windows have been installed in September 2017, as was the hot water heater and a ceramic stove.
