This Commies house (customs office/former BORDER/ TAX CONTROL Office ) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30min.) are also easily accessible. Public transport bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stat, in the middle of the forest, big garden, water canal at the edge of the chalet and a lot of tranquility. The chalet is for four people and is child friendly. The park has all the amenities to ensure a fun and relaxing time, including a restaurant and bike rentals. Small vacation home of 30m2, in a cozy little street with the same cottages. It has an open plan living room/kitchen, toilet with shower. A bedroom with a double bed 160x200. From the bedroom you walk through the patio. The cottage is suitable for 2 persons. It has its own parking space. No smoking! Has a laundry/drying machine. The cottage has been renovated in 2023.

Due to its location, you can be in Amsterdam, Haarlem or on the beach in no time. For example, make a lovely bike - or hike through the dunes or go shopping in Haarlem or Amsterdam. When you return, you can relax in the Finnish sauna.
