Newly renovated Bach for sun sea and relax

The Spinney - a home away from home. Very comfortable, clean and cosey. The property has been renovated over the winter. New kitchen, cladding and windows etc. Patio to side and a decking to the front to enjoy the bush, bird songs and great sunsets. Stunning views. Well behaved pets welcome with prior approval. Excellent location, quick walk to Estuary with Marina, cafes/restaurants. Ocean beach is also 5 minutes walk via a cliff path. Tairua shops are a few minutes drive.

Riverside Retreat destination in nature

We have dropped our price due to the “ Occupancy Tax” NZ govt is now charging guests We are 15mins from Hobbiton movie set. Rustic, hand built,natural cleaning products, linens and recycled materials (nothing fancy) Wake up to river views from your swinging king size bed, enjoy a “cold one” on the floating pontoon or laze around in one of the hammocks, enjoy the ambience of the fire pit or hot tub. Located in very quiet Pillans Point, close to the city, the harbour and ocean beaches. We are also only an hours drive from Hobbiton ( film set for the Hobbit movies) and Rotorua thermal area. Situated within walking distance (2 mins) of Cafe, Bakery, both open for breakfasts and take-away. Bus route 200 mts. Restaurants, Supermarket, Chemist 2 mins drive. We are 5 minute drive to City Center, Uber $11.50 approx. Pick up from airport if required.

Semi self-contained & central beach haven

Superbly located on Te Ngaio Rd in the heart of Mount Maunganui, this semi self-contained (no kitchen) accommodation is just 250 metres from the beach and a gentle 5 minute stroll to cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. There are two rooms. One generously large room has a queen bed and single bed. The other room is essentially a lounge with a sofa bed. Both rooms open out to a beautiful landscaped backyard that is shared with us and our 2 kids.

This all day sunny bach is a great place to relax, enjoy the lake views, have a wine by the pizza oven, soak in the outdoor bath. If you want a bit of activity, take out the kayaks/paddle board or bring your bikes to ride in the Redwoods. Fishing, water skiing and the hot pools are just boat ride away, off street parking is available and jetty access upon request.
