I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Updated, two bedroom apartment within two blocks of Belfast's shops, the CoOp, restaurants, and the Harbor. Walk to the shore, the park, or the Railtrail. Drive to near-by beaches, state parks, or Acadia National Park. Shop for antiques and local crafts, arts, and foods. The house was built as a Congregational Parsonage and has been beautifully updated while retaining its historic character.

Overlooking lovely horse pastures and deer often come to visit. 35 additional wooded acres to explore. There are unorganized trails that abut “Dead Brook“ available to walk. “Majic”, “Wally” and “Boots” are your neighbors and love to say hello and get a pat.
