Whimsical Guest House-Downtown Boone

This is a renovated guest house that was built in 1940. It has great 1940's features, like hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large scale windows. We removed 2 major walls, which opened up kitchen/dining room /living room, to one big space. The guest-house now has an open, bright feel, with a funky, mid-century decor. Our property consists of 3 acres, yet is only one block from downtown Boone. The outside setting is very secluded and natural- with a wooded hillside, creek, and huge yard.

Yes, we are open after the hurricane. The loft is separate from our house, privacy assured. Enjoy our friendly chickens, walk in our gardens. The Alpine A is a solar powered structure on a lean-to roof, built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel. A deck with gas firepit, small grill, a couple folding chairs.
