A charming dog friendly Yorkshire Dales cottage with simply stunning 360° views, its own enclosed garden, parking, separate access and superb walks right from the cottage door. The House on the Hill sits close by St. Margaret's Church in Hawes, at the head of beautiful Wensleydale. This traditional, stone built cottage has been carefully modernised and provides attractive and comfortable accommodation. This is such a characterful property and is ideally located in the heart of Hawes. Free parking in the communal spaces on The Hill or in the village close by. We are approximately 200 yards from the centre of Hawes and only 30 seconds walk to the nearest pub!

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc, the lounge area has a smart tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime, fast wifi, smart speaker. There are smart low energy electric radiators throughout, a small well behaved dog is also welcome downstairs.

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
