Kokako Lodge is a compact self contained haven, with upcycled rustic decor. The lodge sits on our family property of 1 acre, it has established trees and gardens. Kokako lodge is a separate abode to the main house. It has a main bedroom with a queen sized bed and a mezzanine floor above the kitchen which has 2 single or a king size bed. The walls are adorned with local artists drawings and paintings. Kokako lodge is 5 minute drive from the city and close to the Wanganui river walk. A real treasure.

Historic Bank in Rural Village - a great escape.

Cosy fire, Vault bathroom. Multi-night discounts. Continental breakfast. Cafe and Pub within a two minute walk.River and bush walks a plenty. A fabulous diversion encompassing spectacular views - especially if driving to or from the North. You will be staying in the character filled, old Kimbolton BNZ Bank (complete with teller box). Pet friendly (make sure you include in your booking). I live in the "Managers Quarters" which are through a door from the bank (the walls are very thick).
