House in the country near Astrid Lindgren's World, Vimmerby . Single location in beautiful surroundings at the border between Småland and Ydre Östergötland. Wonderful nature, close to several swimming lakes and several tourist attractions such as the area around Sommen as well as Katthult, Filmbyn Småland, Mariannelunds Karamellkokeri and of course Astrid Lindgren's World. The accommodation is a typical older red cabin on two levels with a large garden. Grazing animals in the surrounding area and the forest to discover around the corner. Lovely idyll.

Cozy guest cottage in beautiful environment!

Newly built cozy guest house of 26 sqm beautifully located which has Wifi and TV with chrome cast. On the loft there is a 140 cm resomattress and in the living room a 140 cm sofa bed. It is 900m to Torpöns Ferry Location where there is a restaurant/café and ice cream bar as well as activities such as high altitude track and rental of canoes. Lake Sommen is located about 200 meters from the cottage and is a nice lake to swim and fish in..Fishing license available in the Ferry Camp. Hiking trails are nearby just outside the cottage.

Lerstugan - a Swedish summer dream outside Vimmerby

A real paradise in the heart of nature! It has an idyllic and beautiful old soldier dwelling dating back to 1678. Astrid Lindgren's World is about 30 minutes away. Torpet is located 50 meters from Skirsjön. Swimming and boat spot is available in a few minutes walk. This is a true neighborhood dream. Here you live freely and undisturbed with an adorable view of the forest and lake. On the grounds there are two residential properties, partly the cottage but even the old barn, which was nicely converted into a large guest house.

Stay in soldier's cottage in beautiful Ydre. Here you will find peace and quiet in idyllic surroundings. A small cozy cottage with a large garden. Feel the wings of history in the old timber walls, yet have amenities such as kitchen and newly installed bathroom. Here you live in the middle of nature, close to forest, open meadows and lakes. 2.5 km to swimming area with jetty. 7 km to Österbymo; grocery store, pharmacy, pizzeria, Systembolag. 40 km to the wooden town Eksjö. 50 km to Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby.

Family-friendly summer cottage

Cottage in peaceful area with all facilities one might need. 200 meters down to the nearest beach and 500 meters down to the harbor/large swimming area. Amazing surroundings and nature for those who like to hike or run. If you want to take the steam boat to Malexander or Tranås, this leaves from the harbor. A cozy cottage at lake Sommen with Hot Tube

Welcome to rent our paradis at lake Sommen for your holiday. This place has been in our family for 120 years. The house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. In the living room there is a large fireplace, a 55" Smart Tv with Wifi, Satelite Channels and surround system. In the kitchen/dining area there is a large Contura camine as well as a bedsofa for two people. The kitchen has induction cooker, oven, microwave oven, dish washing machine, coffe maker and boiler.

Hi and welcome to Kummelbo. My retreat. Booking is closed and opens again on February 1, 2024. If you are interested and have questions, just email me :-) Rent out in parts of May and June and parts from 10/8 to 15/10. You can ask for dates even though they are blocked. Comfortable cottage for countryside recreation. Bath, excursions, fishing, canoe, walking trails, cows, cheeps and horses. Private in Torpa churchvillage. 200 m to neighbours and church. 70 m to Linna river, lake Sommen.

Charming cottage next to creek with nature close by

Welcome to Holken at Norrby Säteri. Holken was built in the 19th century and is situated right next to a stream. In this charming and newly renovated house without close neighbors and with its large garden, you can fully enjoy nature. Lying in the hammock on the terrace of the house and listening to the stream's noise is a true relaxing one. A nice walk or bike ride on nice forest roads leads to a sandy beach in Stora Sundsjön where also rowing boats are at your disposal.
