Hi, I am Mauro! Mauro's Posada is an eco-friendly sandbags building with its own solar power and composting toilet system. The posada is my sustainable project in Bahia de los Angeles, and is continuously in progress with different alternative structures. The projects include a green house with chickens, clay walls for pottery area, corral for milk goats, grey water garden and soon biogas. The posada has amazing views from the top of a hill just at the entrance of the town.

a place where you will be able to rest, enjoy the silence and see the starry sky at night. We are located in the heart of the bay, where you’ll find grocery stores and restaurants. The beach is at a walking distance of only 250 meters. If you are looking for any whale shark tours of fishing tours do not hesitate to ask. I will gladly pass on some recommendations.
