Tranquil Retreat with Pools, Gardens and Inverter

Nestled in lush greenery, this traditional Cape Dutch manor cottage is the epitome of tranquility with rolling lawns, big trees, and a three-tiered swimming pool. This peaceful 70m2 one bedroom en suite garden cottage is set on 8000m2 of lavish gardens in a quiet cul de sac in Upper Constantia. Expect to be woken by the indigenous Egyptian geese, guinea fowls and squirrels. The cottage has an open plan all encompassing modern kitchen, including an integrated fridge and dishwasher, oven/hob, microwave and a stocked Saeco coffee machine. The elegant lounge area comprises of two comfortable sofa's, a flat screen television with cable tv and large dvd selection. The en suite bedroom has a double bed with a down duvet and crisp white linen as well as ample cupboard space and a stable door leading on to the private patio and gardens. There is also a safe for guests use, as well as a private patio with bbq (Weber), which overlooks the garden. The garden and pools surrounding the cottage may be used at any time and are essentially for your exclusive use as no one else uses them. The cottage has its own alarm system including exterior beams that are activated with a remote control. Amenities include: - Complimentary uncapped wifi (high speed fibre) - Flat screen television with cable tv and a large DVD selection - Stocked Saeco coffee machine - Bathroom amenities - Day tours and airport transfers on request - Laundry service on request In addition to the cottage guests have access to the garden and three inter-leading pools. Guests are welcome to have their friends/family over - the dining room table seats six guests. There is also ample parking space on the driveway, which may be used. Guests are welcome to inquire at any time with information they may need. Upon arrival I give guests my mobile number where they can contact me should they need anything. Having lived in South Africa for many years as well as having been in the tourism industry for the past decade you can be sure to find out about the little must-do gems in Cape Town. The cottage is a gem perfectly poised in a beautiful lush neighbourhood with easy access to the popular Constantia wine route, picturesque nature trails, and world-class, award-winning restaurants. Our recommendation would be to rent a car or to alternatively use an Uber, which is a fantastic and popular taxi service. If you are an avid hiker or enjoy walking you can reach the shops with a 30 minute scenic walk. LAUNDRY: A washing machine and tumble dryer are included in the listing at a charge. Should you wish to have your washing done this can be organised at a cost of ZAR 150 per load (8kg) and includes washing and folding. During weekdays your washing will be returned the same day provided it is given to housekeeping before 11am. CLEANING SERVICE: A pre and post cleaning of the apartment is included. Should you require servicing during you stay this can be arranged at R300 per day. For stays longer than seven days a complimentary clean and linen change is included. WATER: Cape Town is situated in a water-scarce region and is currently in the aftermath of a severe drought. The City of Cape Town has implemented water restrictions. We therefore kindly ask our guests to be mindful of this. SUPERMARKETS: The closest supermarkets are located in Constantia Village, which is located 4.3km away from the property, an 8 minute drive.

We have aircon for the unit. Guests have access to the entire apartment. Guest's access the apartment block via a security concierge desk and access the apartment via the lift or stairs. The apartment is in the historic centre of Cape Town and walking distance to notable attractions like the Company Gardens, museums, art galleries, and Greenmarket Square. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, or take a quick drive to beaches. The apartment is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. MyCiti bus route services the area. The stop is located outside the apartment building. The apartment is close to Cape Town central station and the MyCiti airport shuttle terminal. The "Hop-on Hop-off" sightseeing bus route is also located outside the apartment block. Uber is the most convenient way to get around. We recommend Uber at night. New guests need to identify themselves at the front desk with their passports. This is for safety and security. We are in a severe drought. Please use water sparingly. Spacious Apartment in a Former Art Deco Cinema

Relax in a beautiful Art Deco building that was once home to the original Cape Town cinema. Have a long soak in the modern tub in a marble-tiled bathroom, or cook in the roomy, fully-equipped kitchen. This refurbished space is the ideal city respite. The building does also not experience load shedding which makes it perfect for working travellers. The apartment has two large en-suite bedrooms with an additional guest bathroom. The spaces is 144 squares and a beautiful open plan while the bedrooms are separated from each other to offer complete privacy. All the luxuries a travel could desire with a large flat screen TV, dishwasher and even a wine fridge. The entire apartment I am always available for my guests. I am happy to help with restaurant recommendations, things to do and see or assist with any problems they might experience. The apartment is close to grocery stores, a pharmacy, fantastic restaurants, and has 24/7 security. Bree Street is close for those who prefer the social scene and Kloof Street is nearby for fine dining. The apartment is very central. From the apartment is very easy to access all forms of public transport (bus, Uber, taxi) right outside the building door so a car is not needed. If guests prefer, they can rent a car and park in the building. The apartment has allocated parking. The airport is a 15minutes drive The city has many things to offer and guests can choose from day tours, spa activities, hiking, paragliding, drinking something at a wine bar or going to the beach. All of of these option are within a few minutes from the apartment.

Romantic Cape Town Cottage with Mountain Views

This stand alone cottage on our private property is located in the Bishopscourt area of the Western Cape. The cottage is an open plan lounge,bedroom with two big verandas, a kitchenette and a large bathroom with a shower and bath that opens out to a very private balcony with sun loungers and an outside shower. With magnificent views of the mountain and terrains, one can fully unwind and relax in this more than spacious cottage. This private cottage will be all yours during your stay. There are multiple lounging areas inside and outside the cottage. Our long serving housekeeper, Maks, will be there to look after you and make sure you always have what you need.She cleans and does the washing daily except on a Sunday. Located within walking distance to many stunning hikes, walking routes, mountain biking, and cycling routes. There are many places nearby that you can rent bikes and there is ample storage at the house for bikes to be stored. There is ample and secure parking on our property for the vehicle you bring along for your stay. I am usually here and am very happy to help with advice at all times. This home is in a quiet residential area with beautiful houses and leafy streets. Close to the botanical gardens and near the city. Uber Available.Safe parking on the grounds of the property. No need for Air Conditioning units as the mountain air in the mornings and evenings will be cool and crisp all year long. There is a ceiling fan, if you need additional cooling. The sublime architecture of the house makes this space unique and extremely pleasant to live. The area is super safe and full of awesome restaurants and bars. The square is one of the nicest downtown and it is in an heritage area. The house is also very secure, with alarm, secure gates etc. Guests are allowed to smoke on the terrace, not inside the loft. Guests have exclusive access to all areas of the main house I do not live in the property but I am available when needed The area is most central to all of Cape Town, set amid very hip and historic spots. The neighborhood is home to a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The square in front of the house has ample free public parking available for cars. Uber is the quickest, most convenient and affordable way to get around. The nearest hop on, hop off bus stop is 150m from the house. For public transport the nearest MyCity bus stop is 400m from the house. Cleaning and laundry service is available by arrangement The area is most central to all of Cape Town, set amid very hip and historic spots.
