Cozy cabin set amongst coastal forest, nestled amongst the trees overlooking the beautiful garden and Wainui beach. Wake to the rising sun and songs of the birds. It is ONE LARGE ROOM with separate bathroom and a small kitchenette and wrap around deck area. Super king bed can be used as x2 singles. Pull out king single couch bed plus roller bed for a 4th person. Please let me know at time of booking as to bed configuration. NB there are steps down to the accomodation, so heavy bags are not ideal

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Te Poutapeta is a Historic Places Trust listed building. Up until the 1980s it served as the community Post Office. Our family run it as a B&B or Holiday House but do not live on site. Guests have the entire house at their disposable. We provide continental breakfast. The Post Office is a one minute walk to our long and expansive beach.
