The cottage is located on our property in the quiet area of Leksberg in Mariestad, with close to the hiking areas and exercise tracks in beautiful nature, grocery stores and public transport. Easy to turn off from E20 but you don't have to hear the traffic. 5 min by car or 15 min to walk to the city center. The cottage is just over 40 sqm. Combined sleeping and living room with a double bed that can easily be pulled apart to single beds if you want + a sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen with seating for four persons. Toilet and shower.

Lakefront cabin by Lake Vänern

Our cottage is located in Sundsören right by Torsöbron. It is about 15 km into Mariestad. Both Sundsören and Torsö are very scenic areas with beautiful forests, country roads and of course water everywhere! In the vicinity there is a shop, restaurant, camping and beach. We have a small patio and a large partly glazed terrace that is lovely to sit on during the evenings. There are two bedrooms of which one has a double bed and the other has a bunk bed. In the living room there are 2 day beds of 80 cm.

In this newly renovated house you live in the middle of nature, with only deer and fenced cows as neighbors. The surroundings are beautiful with a view of forest and oak grove, about a hundred meters away you have your "own" beach to swim from. The peaceful atmosphere without wifi and TV inspires calm and harmony in harmony with nature. Unwind in this oasis and enjoy the silence in the middle of the forest on one of Sweden's smallest plateau mountains. Not far from the house is Kvarnstensgruvan, where you can explore the mines and eat something. There are many hiking trails and nice walking paths in the area. 8 km away is a swimming lake where you also can buy a fishing license. In winter, it is close to a large toboggan run. Electric car chargers are available. Cleaning is not included, but can be purchased for SEK 800.

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bike. Göta Canal flows through both communities where there are also cafes, grocery store, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures you can also see the beautiful sea buckthorn which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cottage for hunters, outdoor lovers or for the roads passing by. There are also bicycles for hire.
