Fully furnished w/ two separate bedrooms Queen beds. Private Basement location w/ some shared spaces in the building such as 3 bathrooms up the back stairway, speakeasy lounge, 1 kitchenette, 1 full kitchen, TV lounge area, and a smoking lounge outside in the back breezeway. Safe downtown location (city ctr) easy walking to 2 restaurants, full grocery store, bank, post office, gas / c-store. The area is an outdoor paradise , snowmobiling, nearby lakes, mine view, right on the Masabi Bike trail.

The Bunkhouse Loft / Private Room #6 is the private space (the entire upper level of the hostel), SLEEPS UP TO 6 GUESTS. It has a queen size bed in a semi-private room and two sets of bunk beds in the main room. There is a half bath and a kitchenette area with microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, sofa and chair. Showers are located on the lower level of the hostel along with the main kitchenette. Enjoy the amazing views of Lake Superior & the homestead!! Perfect for families + groups!!

Unique 1900s Hotel Rooms reopened for overnight rooms. Located just off Main Street across from the Main Street Mall Plaza and only blocks from the Mountain Bike Trails. Cuyuna Brewing and the Iron Range Eatery are just across the street. Serpent Lake and Crosby Memorial Park are a quick walk down the street. All rooms are located above the Spalding Bar and that is also where you check in. Expect some noise from the bar below (we provide earplugs if you need them), especially on weekends.

Unique 1900s Hotel Rooms with a dorm room feel. Located just off Main Street across from the Main Street Mall Plaza and only blocks from the Mountain Bike trails. Serpent Lake and Crosby Memorial Park are a quick walk away. Rooms are located above the Spalding Bar, so there is noise... especially on weekends. I repeat, it can get loud! Please do not book this room and then give a bad review because it was loud! It can be loud! Ear plugs, a diffuser with sound and a fan are provided.

Has other shared spaces. self catering use of kitchen refrigerator, TV room, laundry, and please use common courtesy. Please clean your own messes, cookware and dish soap provided. We do general cleaning throughout the lodging house except for housekeeping in the BR’s. You can get linens refreshed weekly, just contact the Innkeeper when it’s convenient for you.

Upstairs large apartment has 4 separate rooms. Private room w/ shared space kitchen & living room. Social lodging environment please use common courtesy as other guests my be staying in the 3 other rooms. Great for well mannered guests, especially for student housing or interim workers, fishermen, family reunions or just in the area looking for a cheap stay for awhile. Has WiFi and sat tv for your convenience. Please understand we have a week minimum stay.
