Watch the sunset from the rooftop deck of this modern, architectural gem. URBAN LOFT is what the “living room” feels like . Perfect for large groups and events because the entire ground floor is one large open space (approx. 1,000 sq ft.) Half the space is open and can be set up with tables, yoga mats, seating. The oversized sofa and ottomans seat ten and face a large flat screen TV and gas fireplace. The huge sliding glass doors open to a large private patio, and features custom furniture that seats ten and surrounds a gas fire-pit! CHEF”S KITCHEN features a Viking 6 burner range and all the cooking equipment you might need, tableware for 12, with plenty of space for chefs and caterer. The dining table seats ten and there are two folding tables and chairs available to expand capacity by eight. Open the sliding glass doors and hear the soothing sounds of a Zen water wall! Two Weber 22” domed traditional charcoal barbecues provided for grilling. ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS: Large Flat screen TV’s are in the living room, master suite, and front guest bedroom , and include cable and premium content. Stream your own content, or play your Apple library via Apple TV in the living room system. For PowerPoint presentations, or any content played on your laptop, you may connect your laptop to the TV via HDMI cable (Bring your own). For music, the large Bose Sound Dock is in the living room. It plays your music through Bluetooth enabled devices. Music channels are also available on DirecTV. MASTER BEDROOM is large enough to be an apartment! It has an en-suite bathroom with soaking tub, private balcony, separate living area with tv and sofa, and hanging bubble chair (#instagram spot.) THE TWO GUEST BEDROOMS share a bathroom. Two queen beds are in one, King and twin beds in the other, Sleeping arrangements are flexible; move any of the four portable rollaway beds into any of the bedrooms, or even down to the living room. To be clear, there are three private bedrooms and the house works best for large groups who are flexible in their sleeping arrangements. Capacity numbers assume two people will be sharing the beds of queen and king size. . BABIES AND TODDLERS are welcome, and I have a portable crib and two high chairs. But, please note following section about stairs: STAIRS: The house is of modern construction and has long stairs made of concrete and steel connecting the living room to the upstairs bedroom level. These can be a concern for the elderly, or for very young or unruly kids. A safety gate is available for the top of the main stairs, which installed upon request. ROOFTOP DECK Is an utterly private deck on the third floor, with 270 degree views, a peek of the Hollywood sign, chaise lounges for four, sofa for ten all surrounding a gas fire-pit. It’s a great place to sun and hangout, watch the sunset, or drink cocktails by the fire. Due to noise restrictions, guest use not permitted after 10 pm. PARKING: Two cars will fit in the driveway. You also have exclusive use of two more parking spots in the street, parallel to the garage door . (Except Tuesday morning 8:30-10:30 am street sweeping) In general, this neighborhood has ample street parking, except during summer weekends, or warm winter ones. During those times, any cars in excess of four can park (even overnight) in the public parking lots nearby : #9 at 14031 Palawan Way, or #13 at 4601 Via Marina. , in Marina Del Rey. SELF CHECK-IN The house features an electronic lock on the front door. Two days prior to your arrival I will send you your code that unlocks it, and you may let yourself in any time after 4pm on your day of arrival (or 1:30 pm for luggage drop off). House instructions and wi fi passwords are posted in the kitchen. EARLY CHECK-IN and LATE DEPARTURE This is a frequent request, and since the house is rented out nearly 100%, usually impossible to accommodate. The house takes five hours to clean between 11 am checkout and 4 pm check in. However, if you don’t mind seeing a messy house you may drop off luggage after 1pm. Similarly, if you are checking out and have a late flight, you may leave luggage by the front door until 12:30 pm. MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT. I get many more rental requests than I can handle. I need to fill every night of the week, so I have some guidelines that determine which rental requests I accept. Following these will help get your request accepted: 1. Weekend reservations that includes a Saturday night must be for a minimum of three nights. (Exceptions may be made made if the reservation is less than two weeks away or if Friday night or Sunday night is already booked. In that case a two night stay is acceptable. 2. I almost always accept one or two night stays midweek, especially if it does not leave a gap to either the preceding or following reservation, or is unlikely to. Reservations that leave a one or two day gap are less likely to be accepted than those adjacent an existing reservation. The calendar is published with my Airbnb listing. I understand that most peoples travel plans are not flexible, so please ask and I will make every effort to accommodate you. But if I say no to your request for a Saturday night only stay, understand this is why. And if you really, really want to experience an amazing “baller” place in Venice, this is how! NOISE RESTRICTION HOURS This is a quiet family neighborhood, with working families in the houses surrounding. To allow my neighbors peace and quiet, we have a strict rule that our outdoor patio areas are closed between 10pm and 8am . Similarly, if you are playing music or watching TV, kindly do so with windows and sliding doors closed. FILM AND EVENT USE The house has been used successfully for feature films, commercials, video interviews, catalog shoots, music videos, lifestyle photos, Wedding; dinners, brunches, makeup, family, photos, ceremonies; strategy meetings, special interest seminars, yoga retreats, dinner parties and, employee off sites. I generally do not allow birthday parties, bachelor /bachelorette parties, music performances, or any gathering likely to create excessive noise or disturb the neighbors. For speciaI uses, charge the daily Airbnb rate for the number of guests actually sleeping over, plus an additional flat fee that is based on the specifics of your use. To request a quote, tell me the number of people sleeping over each evening, plus an estimate of the total number of additional visitors, employees, guests , employees or service providers who would be at the property each day. Please provide detailed information about your event, including hours (events past ten pm not permitted). Guests are responsible for trash removal in excess of one containers worth, and I can connect you with a service to remove yours. Please note that for any use that starts in the morning, it is required to also book the day preceding. Inspection of the property is available prior to renting. Entire house! and, front patio and upstairs deck. Garage is for owners use only. We do self check-ins. I will send you a key code that opens the front door two days before your arrival. I am available 24/7 vi text or phone to answer questions. It is a great Venice Beach location, 5 blocks from the beach and 15 minutes to LAX. Abbot Kinney, named the coolest street in America, is home to fabulous restaurants, super cool bars, trendy boutiques, and shops. Bus service one block away. Uber and Lyft, public bike rentals everywhere. Metro train station is 2.5 miles away in Santa Monica can take you all over LA. LAX is 8 miles away. House has parking for four cars, and public overnight parking is available public parking lots nearby : #9 at 14031 Palawan Way, or #13 at 4601 Via Marina. , in Marina Del Rey. This is a quiet, family neighborhood, and this is not a "party house". To preserve peace for my neighbors, outdoor areas may be used between 7:30 and 10 pm only. As mentioned in the copy, there are stairs between main floor and two floors above which are made of steel and concrete. (Safety gate available) The best Venice Beach location, family friendly, just 5 blocks to the beach and one block to the famous canals. You won't need your car; everything is walking distance! Nearby Abbot Kinney Street, named the coolest street in America, is home to fabulous restaurants, super cool bars, trendsetting boutiques, and unusual shops. Recently remodeled, the cabin is a perfect mix of rustic & luxury featuring a private deck with a hammock facing breathtaking views and a massive walk in shower. A newly remodeled guest cabin with a private front yard and a huge private deck overlooking the canyon. A gorgeous 2 person bathroom with double sinks and a spa style shower with a bench and skylight. Raw hard wood ceilings with rustic touches makes this a unique yet comfy space. Just a 2 minute drive from rustic Topanga and 10 minutes from the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu, we are also directly across the street from Topanga state park, the largest tract of park land in Los Angeles. Trailhead is within walking distance with access to miles of trails of varying difficulty. Red Rock Canyon is also 5 minute drive. Over the ridge to the Valley is 12 minute drive with access to all modern shopping amenities and restaurants. Its really up you. We are a super chill couple with years of airbnb experience as both hosts and guests. Your space is your own private area that is connected to the main house by a short trail. We are always available to help with advice about the area or to just hang out and trade travel stories. Topanga is a special place that has been occupied by native americans for hundreds of years. They chose this area for its lush vegetations, calm winds and dry temperate climate. The moisture comes up the canyon every morning and evening to feed the vegetation. It truly is a mountainous paradise within proximity to all LA has to offer. The people are a laid back mix of musicians, artists and film makers from all over the world. You can literally get lost in the maze of meandering roads and trails that give sight to the eclectic architecture and natural vistas. Everyday the weather is near perfect - you have to experience it yourself to fully understand. A rental car is a must in LA. You can use LYFT or UBER to get to and from the city but it is not as convenient as having your own wheels. A taxi can be taken from LAX or Burbank airports to the cabin. Mountain biking and hiking are great ways to explore the area. Several trails originate near our home and can be taken all the way down to the coast. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level. The cabin is a guest house on our property with its own parking space. We have 2 driveways so parking is never an issue. The cabin has a kitchen with a fridge, 2 burner range and a microwave. The private deck features a picnic table, a hammock, two lounge chairs and a small propane Weber grill. Available for any help/guidance! And we love to meet our guests but fully respect their privacy. The cabin is a few minutes' drive to Topanga and some great organic restaurants as well as fun shops. Drive to the beach in Malibu or stay in the area and commune with nature on a hike or bike ride. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level.

Relax in the shade of an avocado tree. Walk to endless dining and shopping options in the heart of Sunset Junction and Virgil Village or dine outside on the private patio. Totally renovated and remodeled, our perfect Silver Lake bungalow retains lots of it's original 1922 charm. It has an open floor plan with wood flooring, recessed LED lighting, and Central AC/heating throughout. The full kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances. GE gas range with oven and broiler. Microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Plenty of counter space to prep your favorite meal. The bathroom is super swank with a large free standing tub and waterfall shower. Luxury. Please note the bathtub is VERY big. If you have any sort of mobility issue, message us before booking. The living/dining area has been decorated with a nod to mid-century California bungalow design. It has a wall mounted Sony flat screen TV, Bose stereo, and 5G WIFI to stream the AppleTV. It's a great space to lounge and enjoy meals and entertainment. The spacious master bedroom has an Organic King mattress and a 4 door walk-in closet with floor to ceiling mirrors. It gets lots of light during the day and has a blackout curtain over the headboard for when you need extra sleep. The 2nd bedroom is smaller than the master, but has plenty of space for a comfortable queen sized bed. It has a desk (for when it is time to get down to work). It's also appointed with a walk-in closet. The big backyard has both an avocado and orange tree. It is landscaped with native, drought resistant plants. With a lighted outdoor dining area, it's the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor meal and drink, or just lounge in the California sun. You have access to the entire home. Including the driveway, front porch and back yard. Please note that the driveway is narrow, so only sedans and compact SUVs will fit. Send a text or message via the site for a quick response. The house is right in the middle of the Sunset Junction and Virgil Village neighborhoods of Silver Lake. It is one of the most vibrant, diverse and walkable locations in all of Los Angeles. For people who travel without cars, the Redline Metro stop is a short 5-10 minute walk from the property. It boasts quick access to Griffith Park, Hollywood, bars and nightlife, as well as countless dining and shopping options. There is close, convenient access to the Metro Red Line subway. You will be just a short ride to Hollywood Proper, Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica Beach and the entire city of Los Angeles. For drivers, we are near to the 101 Hollywood Freeway, making it a great stop on your California road trip. Free tandem parking for two cars is included. Quietly kept this space in the canyon lends itself to people whom are looking to read, write, relax, unwind, yoga, reflect..... feeling like you want to be on the property hiking all around ( Red Rock Trail Hike 4 min drive ) the property backs to a Creek’s Edge. Mountain View’s everywhere. 10 minute drive to the middle of the canyon brings you to local shops, small local market, artesian restaurants, art galleries and other Topanga staple businesses. Guest have access to the complete guest suite: (Bedroom , bathroom, common living space and kitchenette) Outside table and chairs provide a semi private sitting area as well as deck on roof with Mountain View’s. Washer and dryer in separate area are also available upon request to guest if need be. This property has other units on site.... We live on the property and are welcoming to all. Los Angeles and it’s surrounding areas have great public transportation and Uber and Lyft do come in and out of the canyon but a car is a must given our proximity to outside areas. *** important to know: the Driveway is a little steep. The first time you come down can be a little daunting. Feel free to find parking at the top of the property first time down, or trust that you have plenty of space to turn around and park in front of your rental***

1924 Spanish Retreat in the Hollywood Hills

Wake up to city views and soak up the sunshine at a classic Spanish Hollywood hideaway with Bohemian flavor. House is divided - Guest will stay in the Two-Story Main House while Hosts live in the back of house with separate entrance. We are well-traveled creative types on premises in the divided back house. We'll meet you when you arrive and show you the house & yard, and then be available by text or call for any questions. We are more than happy to interact with guests, but also respect that some guests may want to keep to themselves. Walk to Hollywood, Beachwood Canyon, or Franklin Village. Uber or Lyft comes in seconds and takes minutes to Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and West Hollywood. Griffith Park is minutes from the house. Walk to the Hollywood and Vine Metro Red Line Station, The Flyaway bus from LAX drops you off at Hollywood and Argyle just 5 blocks away. It is only 8 dollars. Uber and Lyft cars are everywhere Not Handicap Accessible - we are up two flights of outdoor stairs to enter the house, and bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. This house is not child-proofed so not suitable for children, there are floor to ceiling windows with no child guards.We do have a lovely doodle named Theodore. He is hypoallergenic and does not shed. He is kept in a separate yard and you won't be interacting with him unless you would like to of course!
